ALTA/ACSM Land Title Survey
Description
An ALTA survey is a highly detailed boundary and improvement survey with requirements established through the combined efforts of the American Land Title Association (ALTA) and the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping (ACSM). Lenders and title insurance companies often require an ALTA survey for the sale, transfer or refinancing of apartment projects, office buildings, commercial complexes, industrial parks and residential subdivisions. The sale of an individual home generally does not require an ALTA Survey.
